Stations of the Cross for Children
We invite you to follow the link below and meditate on the Stations of the Cross this Lenten Season as we spend time with Christ in the desert, remembering always that He walks with us and never leaves us alone. Remembering also, His suffering, death, and Resurrection, done with complete love and with the desire for us to remain united with Him always.
Entering the Desert with Christ
Here are some ideas for weekly sacrifices as well as things that you can add to your life to bring you closer to Christ during this Season of Lent.

Help us Pray for those Preparing for Sacraments
During the month of February, there will be tables set up in the Gathering Space of the Cathedral with cards that can be picked up. The envelopes contain the name of one student preparing for Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, along with a little information about that student. The long cards have the names of all of the students preparing for their Sacraments. Please prayerfully consider picking up a card, an envelope, or both, and then praying for that student(s) as they prepare to enter into full communion with Christ. These students are future Saints, but they need our intercessions and the guidance of the Holy Spirit as they make their journey.

Saint Cards for our Future Saints!
The students preparing to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion were asked to make a Saint Card of themselves. The Saints were regular people, just like our students, but they made the choice to follow Christ and became Saints. It is important that our children know that they can make a difference in the world right now, and that they can make choices to love and follow Christ, too!

CTK Children’s Faith Formation (CFF) answers the call of the Gospel, “Let the children come to me” (Mt. 19:14). We believe that helping our youngest Church members see the love of Christ in their everyday lives will form a strong foundation of faith that will assist them in their lifelong journey of faith formation and service.
Sacramental Preparation 2nd & 3rd Grade
Walking with and assisting you as you prepare your child to enter into an intimate communion with Christ through the Sacraments is our privilege. Those classes preparing to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and 1st Holy Communion will enter this portal for specific Sacramental preparation material and information in addition to the week’s Liturgical lesson and activities.
Children’s Faith Formation (CFF) 4th/5th Grade
CTK Children’s Faith Formation (CFF) answers the call of the Gospel, “Let the children come to me” (Mt. 19:14). We do this by introducing them to the life of Jesus through activities, sacred scripture, Catholic traditions, and family activities. CTK CFF, is working towards restoring the Domestic Church by making the most of every opportunity that God presents to us to reach the family and pass the love of the Father and the Son out to each person.
Just for Parents
We believe in supporting you, the parents and spiritual leaders of your children, as you work to guide your children in the ways of Christ. We provide resources, prayers, and support for your journey in raising Catholic children in today’s world. After all, we are all one family – the Church!
