We believe that the challenges brought by this pandemic can serve as a gateway to new opportunities in strengthening the Domestic Church!
Keeping your child safe while providing Family Faith Formation is our top priority. Due to COVID-19 regulations, we are not gathering in person at this time. We plan to begin gathering as soon as safely possible. In the meantime, we are providing class material and resources to strengthen the Domestic Church. Happy New Year! This is the first Sunday of Advent and the first Sunday of the New Liturgical Year!
Add to your family's sacred space by creating an Advent Wreath as a family! Just take some green paper, trace and cut out everyone's hands, and glue them around the outer edge of a paper plate. Take 4 pieces of paper, 3 purple and 1 pink, and write the words "Faith", "Hope", and "Peace" on the purple paper, and "Joy" on the pink paper. If you have 4 small cardboard rolls (or 2 long ones that you can cut in half), cover them in the colored paper, if you do not have cardboard rolls, simply roll the paper long-wise and tape them closed. Tape or glue your four "candles" to the center of your wreath. Make 4 "flames" by coloring and cutting out some pieces of paper. This week, light the Hope candle. Keep your other "flames" close to your wreath so that you can light a new candle each week. You can find the prayers for each week at the link below. Example pictures are to the right, along with a form for submitting a picture of you and your family with the wreath you created. I would love you see your wreaths!
Here is another activity for your family to complete throughout the Advent Season! Follow the link below for full directions and then don't forget to submit a picture of your finished garland on Christmas!
"The souls of the righteous are in the hand of God, and no torment shall touch them. They seemed, in the view of the foolish, to be dead; and their passing away was thought an affliction and their going forth from us, utter destruction. But they are in peace." - Wisdom 3:1-3
November 2nd is All Soul's Day
CTK CFF and CTK Youth Ministry want to honor and pray for all the faithfully departed members of your families. We want to do this by making a prayerful remembrance video to be shared. You can submit their name and a picture if you have one. VIDEO WILL BE RELEASED EARLY THE WEEK OF 11/29/20.

Children's Faith Formation (CFF) Pk/Kinder/1st Grade
CTK Children's Faith Formation (CFF) answers the call of the Gospel, "Let the children come to me" (Mt. 19:14). We believe that helping our youngest Church members see the love of Christ in their everyday lives will form a strong foundation of faith that will assist them in their lifelong journey of faith formation and service.
Sacramental Preparation 2nd & 3rd Grade
Walking with and assisting you as you prepare your child to enter into an intimate communion with Christ through the Sacraments is our privilege. Those classes preparing to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and 1st Holy Communion will enter this portal for specific Sacramental preparation material and information in addition to the week's Liturgical lesson and activities.
Children's Faith Formation (CFF) 4th/5th Grade
CTK Children's Faith Formation (CFF) answers the call of the Gospel, "Let the children come to me" (Mt. 19:14). We do this by introducing them to the life of Jesus through activities, sacred scripture, Catholic traditions, and family activities. CTK CFF, is working towards restoring the Domestic Church by making the most of every opportunity that God presents to us to reach the family and pass the love of the Father and the Son out to each person.
Just for Parents
We believe in supporting you, the parents and spiritual leaders of your children, as you work to guide your children in the ways of Christ. We provide resources, prayers, and support for your journey in raising Catholic children in today's world. After all, we are all one family - the Church!
