The struggle of returning after a Pandemic is real - BUT so is our GOD! He has renewed our spirits and strengthened our faith through all of this and it's time to be REVOLUTIONARY! We can all make a real difference in the world if we only trust in God's Will for our lives and use the gifts and blessings He gave each of us to realize that WE ARE ENOUGH to change the world!
The safety of our catechists, children, and families is very important to us
We would like to share some of the safety protocols that we are in place related to COVID-19 and its variants. Due to the continued increase in COVID cases in Lubbock and the surrounding area, and in order to do absolutely all that we can and that is in our control to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 and its variants, we have decided to require our ministers and catechists to wear mask while in the classroom, regardless of vaccination status. We are also strongly requesting that children wear masks while in the classroom. This has been a difficult decision, but the health and safety of our ministers, children, and families remains of the utmost importance to us and we feel this is the best course of action at this time in order to continue to meet in person while keeping everyone as healthy and safe as possible. If your child has had a lab confirmed positive COVID-19 test or has had close contact with someone who has tested positive, we ask that you inform the CFF director as soon as possible, and that your child(ren) not attend classes that week. Also, if your child is not feeling well and/or has had a fever in the last 72 hours, we ask that they not attend CFF that week (this will count as an EXCUSED absence). Hand sanitizer and Kleenex will be provided in each classroom, and we will attempt to keep social distancing a priority during seating and activities as much as possible. Classrooms will also be cleaned before and after CFF. If allowed by the Diocese, only prepackaged snacks and water will be provided for the children.
