Requirements for Receiving Sacraments
The health and safety of your family is our top priority. Amid COVID-19 guidelines, dates and procedures may change.
Baptismal certificates for all those preparing to receive their Sacraments will be due no later than November 1, 2020.
Attendance: All students will be required to be active and participating members of CFF including having no more than 4 absences throughout the current CFF year.
Family Projects: Children and their families will work on 3 projects throughout the year (Putting the pieces back together, My Saint Card, & First Holy Communion banner).
Parent Meetings: Parents of children preparing to receive Sacraments will be required to attend parent classes spaced throughout the year. These classes provide formation and catechesis on the beautiful Sacraments that your child will be receiving so that you will feel better armed and able to journey with them and help them as they prepare. Two dates will be offered for each class in an effort to fit schedules.
My Saint Card
Students preparing for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist were asked to create a saint card of themselves to remind them that the saints were regular people just like them, who chose to follow Christ and eventually became saints, just like they can too!
