Grief Support Ministry

The death of a loved on can be one of the hardest things that we experience in our lives.  If you are grieving the loss of a loved on, know that you are not alone.  Although losing a loved one is never easy, it can be made more bearable by learning about the grief process and how our Catholic faith can help us.

Meetings are:

  • Confidential
  • Informal
  • We share or listen & learn about the stages of grief
  • We learn how our Catholic faith can help
  • We meet at Christ the King Cathedral Parish Family Center 4011 54th St (Behind the Cathedral Church & the same building where parish offices are located.)
  • Meetings are facilitated by Deacon Randy and Cindy Canale, (806) 792-2210.

Our next meeting will be at a time when we can safely be together.  Please check the website, MyParish App or bulletin for our next meeting date.

We pray for one another during this difficult time of uncertainty and fear and escpecially for those who mourn the loss of someone they love.

GRIEF NEVER ENDS BUT IT CHANGES.
IT IS A PASSAGE NOT A PLACE TO STAY.
GRIEF IS NOT A SIGN OF WEAKNESS,
NOR A LACK OF FAITH...
IT IS THE PRICE OF LOVE.

For more information contact Deacon Randy or Cindy at (806) 797-2210 or the parish office at 792-6168.
